HibTITER®
Nuron has acquired assets related to HibTITER® conjugate vaccine from Wyeth (a wholly owned subsidiary of Pfizer). Nuron has received favorable opinion from FDA with regard to the relaunch strategy in the US. A bridging clinical trial will be initiated in early 2012.
HibTITER® – is the first conjugated vaccine used for the prevention of infection caused by Haemophilus Influenza Type B bacteria. HibTITER®, a previous market leader, was associated with the 99% decrease in invasive Hib disease from 1989 to 1997 in children less than 5 years old per the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention,Progress toward eliminating Haemophilus influenza type b disease among infants and children, United States, 1987-1997 MMWR, 1998; 47 993-998.
HibTITER® is a ready to use formulation with no reconstitution required.
