Shankar

Shankar Musunuri, Ph.D., MBA, Chief Executive Officer, Founder

Dr. Musunuri is Nuron Biotech’s, Chief Executive Officer since operations were initiated. He is a company Founder and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Dr. Musunuri is a distinguished biotech veteran with significant leadership experience in both biotechnology and vaccinology. Prior to joining Nuron Biotech, Dr. Musunuri worked at Pfizer and Wyeth for over 14 years in various roles of increased leadership responsibility encompassing strategy, global manufacturing, business development, R&D, and commercial teams. He has made significant contributions to major product launches and life-cycle management including Prevenar 13™ as the Leader of Global Operations Team, Prevenar™, Meningitec®, and HibTITER® during his tenure at Pfizer and Wyeth. His career includes positions at Amylin Pharmaceuticals and McNeil Consumer Products.

Dr. Musunuri obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.

Zeng

David Zeng, Ph.D., Senior Vice President, Development & Manufacturing Operations, Founder

Dr. Zeng is Senior Vice President, Development and Manufacturing Operations at Nuron Biotech. He is a biotech veteran with 16 years of experience and served as the head of development at BaroFold in Boulder, Colorado until 2009. Prior to joining Barofold in 2007, he worked at Pfizer Biologics R&D for 10 years in various roles of increased responsibility including as the Development Team Leader for late stage projects. He made significant contributions in the approval of Somavert, Macugen and the development of Cimzia.

Dr. Zeng obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Connecticut.

Mark

Mark W. Ambrose, Ph.D., Vice President, Quality

Dr. Ambrose is Vice President of Quality at Nuron Biotech. Dr. Ambrose is a biotech veteran with 16 years of experience at Pfizer/Wyeth in various roles of increased responsibilities in areas of quality control, compliance and quality assurance, including working as both Department Head and Site Quality Head. He made significant contributions to Meningitec® and Antivenin Micrurus fulvius in cross-functional product leadership roles.

Dr. Ambrose obtained his Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Andrew Romberger, Esq., Vice President and General Counsel

Mr. Romberger serves as Nuron Biotech’s Vice President and General Counsel. Mr. Romberger brings extensive experience in managing corporate legal affairs for businesses in the life science industry. Prior to joining Nuron, Mr. Romberger was a corporate attorney with major California and Philadelphia based law firms. Most recently, Mr. Romberger was a partner in the corporate department of Fox Rothschild LLP, a large, Philadelphia based law firm.  Mr. Romberger has successfully negotiated and closed many complex transactions in the life science industry including licensing deals, mergers, acquisitions, and equity and debt financings. Mr. Romberger has been named a Rising Star by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers.

Mr. Romberger obtained his J.D. from the Santa Clara University School of Law and his B.A. from Moravian College.

Richard

Richard Dinovitz, Vice President, Marketing & Business Development

Mr. Dinovitz joined Nuron Biotech as Vice President of Marketing & Business Development. Mr. Dinovitz brings over 30 years of experience in business development, marketing and sales with a consistent record of award winning commercial success in the vaccine, biopharmaceutical and other pharmaceutical products. Prior to joining Nuron Biotech, Mr. Dinovitz was Executive Director of National Sales at Pfizer/Wyeth. He is recognized for leading teams through complex strategic and operational initiatives having a passion for creating asset value through commercial portfolio development, bringing brands to the market and revitalizing existing brands.

Tracy

Tracy Goeken, MD., Vice President, Clinical & Medical Affairs

Dr. Goeken is Vice President of Clinical and Medical Affairs at Nuron Biotech. He is a veteran in designing and managing global clinical studies for biologics and devices in various therapeutic areas. Prior to joining Nuron Biotech, Dr. Goeken was Director of Global Pharmacovigilance for Pharm-Olam International, Houston, TX. He was responsible for Medical Affairs and Pharmacovigilance, Safety Database Systems and was involved in global clinical studies. Prior to that, Dr. Goeken worked at The Methodist Hospital Research Institute as a Medical Research Manager. Dr. Goeken obtained his MD at Saint Christopher’s College of Medicine in the UK with clinical training at LSU Health Sciences Center.

Vijay

Vijay Tammara, Ph.D., Vice President, Regulatory Affairs

Dr. Tammara is Vice President of Regulatory Affairs at Nuron Biotech. He is an experienced regulatory scientist with 18 years of leadership experience in the field of regulatory science and strategic clinical development. Prior to joining Nuron Biotech, Dr. Tammara was Director of Global Regulatory Affairs at Merck. He made significant contributions to the development and approval of several products including Emend (PONV), Emend IV and Cozaar (XQ/sNDAs), during his tenure at Merck. Dr. Tammara also worked at Wyeth as well as at Sanofi Aventis. Prior to his industry positions, Dr. Tammara held positions of increasing responsibility including Team Leader in the Office of Clinical Pharmacology and Biopharmaceutics at the FDA. He has received several FDA awards including the CDER Outstanding Reviewer Award. Dr. Tammara is an AAPS Fellow.

Dr. Tammara obtained his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from the University of Louisiana, Monroe, LA.
